Guardian Angels

The sky is filled with Angels

with puffy lacy wings.

The remnants of God's beauty

with treasures they now bring.

Each one of them a Guardian

that travels in the sky

To watch throughout eternity

their loved ones from up high.

Kisses come from Angels,

they fall like crystal rain

Eases earthly burdens,

lifting all life's pain.

Halos so astounding

that glitter gold all day

Following their loved ones,

in such a perfect way.

Wings in gentle breezes,

that fall from up above.

Kissing every loved one,

with everlasting love.

Angels soar through heaven

with everlasting light.

Looking down from heaven,

saying their good night's.

Kissing all who loved them,

so gently on the face.

This life's tender mercy,

each loved one can embrace.

Wings and shiny halos,

travel from up high.

Surrounding all their loved ones,

they never say good-bye.

Can’t Let Go

Letting go of everything, of all I ever knew.

Surrendering once and for all, Is just too hard to do.

As time go by, I find myself still trapped in bygone days.

Trying to hold onto our past and our old ways.

Wondering where my love went and how you left so fast

If only I could have known, It wasn't meant to last

Lingering thoughts of you remain and I shall forever grieve.

I hide it well beneath my mask for none to perceive.

Moving ahead is so hard, when I still believe.

It wasn’t time for us to end and too soon for you to leave

I light a candle every day,

Hoping  pain will fade away,

But with the light of each new dawn,

Another day and your still gone.

They say you are gone,

far from this earthly ground

No understands our love,

Cause still you are around.

I feel your hands holding me,

I still believe I hear your voice,

I wait for you at supper,

On a table laid for two,

I still feel you next to me,

Helping me, as you would do.

I look at the moonlit night

I ask of the falling stars,

I’m not quite sure how you exist

And your face I cannot see.

But my love, I know that

You are still here with me.

Last night I dreamt you held my hand,

And as the teardrops filled my eyes

I tried again to reach for you,
